بررسی میزان شیوع سوء تغذیه و عوامل موثر در آن در کودکان زیر ۲ سال شهر ساری در سال ۷۸-۱۳۷۹

سابقه و هدف: با توجه به اهمیت وضعیت تغذیه در رشد و تکامل کودکان که یک شاخص مهم اقتصادی- اجتماعی و بهداشتی در جامعه می باشد، این تحقیق با هدف بررسی میزان شیوع سوء تغذیه و عوامل موثر در آن در کودکان زیر 2 سال شهر ساری در سال 78- 79 انجام شده است.مواد و روش ها: این پژوهش از نوع مقطعی (cross sectional) است. از 10 مرکز بهداشتی- درمانی شهر ساری 700 نمونه به طور تصادفی انتخاب گشته و داده ها با یک روش توصیفی و از طریق پرسشنامه و اندازه گیری وزن جمع آوری شدند و با کمک روش های آماری مورد تجزیه و تحلیل قرار گرفتند.یافته ها: بر حسب امتیازz ،13.7 درصد کودکان از نظر وزن برای سن دچار سوء تغذیه بوده و 9/3 درصد کودکان دچار سوء تغذیه شدید و متوسط بودند. بعد از 6 ماهگی سوء تغذیه به میزان قابل توجهی افزایش می یابد (p<0.0001). میزان سوء تغذیه به صورت معنی داری در پسران بیشتر از دختران بوده است (p<0.001). میزان سوء تغذیه در کودکان مادران باسواد، کمتر از کودکان مادران بی سواد بوده است (p<0.0001). همچنین وابستگی معنی داری بین سوء تغذیه و متغیرهای تغذیه با شیرمادر (p<0.02)، سابقه بستری کودک (p<0.004)، بعد خانوار (p<0.02) و مصرف مرتب قطره مولتی ویتامین (p<0.0001) وجود داشت.استنتاج: سوء تغذیه به عنوان یک مشکل بهداشتی- درمانی در گروه مهمی از کودکان زیر 2 سال شهر ساری وجود دارد و توجه به عوامل زمینه ساز می تواند در کنترل آن موثر باشد.
